Organists provide essential musical leadership for the congregation at Mass, as well as rehearsing with and accompanying choirs and cantors.  Their preludes, communion improvisations, and postludes provide a joyful and worshipful atmosphere at each Mass. 

Organists receive a small stipend for their services and are scheduled two or three months in advance to play several times a month.
