Sanctuary Choir

Sanctuary Choir leads worship three Sundays a month, singing two anthems and aiding the cantors to lead the congregation in hymns and responses.

Formal musical training is not necessary but some choral experience and an ability to follow written music is helpful. The choir sings in a variety of musical styles, ranging from Mozart, Bach, and Palestrina to settings of African-American spirituals and compositions by contemporary composers. Choral settings range from unison to four or more parts, depending on the voices available.
